The SATIS diamond operations, made up of wholly owned projects and investments, is involved in most of the diamond value chain including:
Exploration of Diamonds
Mining of Diamonds
Sorting and valuation of rough diamonds
Cutting and Polishing of rough diamonds
Marketing and sales of polished diamonds to consumers markets
Our diamond operations has an excellent portfolio of mining operations with substantial growth opportunities and a number of expansion opportunities – both greenfield (new sites) and brownfield (development of existing sites). This is allowing us to expand our production significantly through various projects.
With a portfolio of large, low-cost mining operations our aim is to become the pre-eminent supplier of diamonds through capacity expansion, reliable supply and innovative solutions.
The Company is targeting production levels of between 750,000 carats – 1,000,000 carats per year for the next +/- 5 years.
The Company’s strategy is the continued identification, acquisition and operation of quality production based diamond projects which demonstrate the potential to further increase its yearly production levels and support the long-term objectives of its stakeholders and strategic alliance partner.
